Q: What is the water flow of the triple 20 inch whole house unit, and the high flow whole house triple? A: The triple 20 allows 2.5 – 6 gpm, depending on the supply line output. The high flow units are good for 4-9 gpm, again depending on supply line outflow.
Q: When the ice maker calls for water, there is a rather loud rattling sound, and the hose vibrates. Is this an anti siphon valve? When I ran the water for the recommended time, there was no noise what so ever. Can I take this out of the system? I think I have an anti siphon valve installed right before the intake valve." A: That is the auto-shut-off for more security to regulate the water pressure and avoid bursting if the psi is high or if there are spikes in the water from time to time. You can either secure it against a hard surface so that it won’t vibrate, or you can take it out and it will work without it.
